All open/partial bottles will need their own entry in the app when counting inventory. This is because you can only put one bottle on the scale at a time, so you can’t have three open bottles of Grey Goose and have one entry for those three bottles.
For all unopened bottles in one location you can have one entry. For example:
Let’s say you’re in the bar area and you have 4 unopened bottles of Grey Goose as back-up. Then on the rail you have two partial bottles of Grey Goose. Your entries for Grey Goose in this location would be:
- Grey Goose – 4 Bottles
- Grey Goose – 44.45 oz.
- Grey Goose – 54.25 oz.
Then the software will add it all up for you. Based on the full and empty weight of Grey Goose, the software knows exactly how much is left in the bottle based on those weights.
